Rekordbox 4.2.1 Unexpected Application Error
Hi,
Trying to access Rekordbox just now and I cannot open it at all. It keeps coming up with an unexpected application error.
I looked on here and it mentioned about graphics drivers. I updated the Intel one but the nVidia driver is up to date. It was all fine yesterday but now it won't work.
Can someone help me? I can't find the exe file for 4.1.2 which was working fine either.

The same happened to me yesterday, i already submitted inquery, and no one answered me yet. I can't go back to previous working version 4.1.2 because is no longer available in your file downloads.
You guys are pushing your customers to use newer and defective versions without any possibility to go back in case of error. Please make 4.1.2 version available NOW.....
Further versions are very buggy and unstable!!! Please reply the inquery i sent yesterday!!!! I paid 130$ for a license that i'm not able to use!!!

Ok, in case it helps, i was able to solve the "Unexpected Application error". Seems the issue was that my HP notebook 1000 laptop was using a generic display driver not the original display driver.
So i went to the official HP website for my laptop model and saw they finally decided to put a windows 7 display driver on april this year (before they only offered for win 8 and upper versions so i had to use generic in Win 7 64 bit).
Finally tried installing the correct display driver version for my laptop (Intel HD Graphics 3000). And after this rekordbox is opening fine without any error.
Seems that RekordBox updates starting from version 4.2.0 removed the support for generic display drivers. I'm just wondering what will happen to users that doesn't have a possibility to update drivers like i was before april 2016 when Win 7 display driver was released.
Anyway i solved the issue, hope this tips can help for other people, rekordbox support is taking forever to reply inqueries... too bad.
