Press the TEMPO button and cycle through to the 6% range. There you will have a resolution of 0.02%.
Hi can anyone please tell me which rekord box controller has a decent pitch resolution that you can mix with. I have an xdj rx and that is 0.1 which is not that great. Love rb just not mixing in it. I don't want to use sync. Thanks for any help

You can change the pitch resolution, I don't exactly remember how, but you can
Hi Pulse on my xdj rx I have must have some settings wrong as even at 6 percent on tempo it still only is moving in .1 steps. I often have situations where one 1 deck is 124 and the other is 124.1 and that's the closet you can get. I realise the xdj rx is really a stand alone was really just wondering if that's the same for all rb controllers as would just buy one that works. Thanks

I think you're confusing the displayed BPM with the actual BPM that the unit will be playing. Eg - the display will only show the BPM in 0.1 increments - so you'll go from 124.0 to 124.1 on the display but as you move your tempo slider the actual BPM will change in a much more discrete way - eg it'll actually go from 124.0 to 124.01, 124.02 etc.
Mm no thats is not how my rb software is working it clearly jumps in 0.1 percent steps there is no in between steps. my guess is that the xdi rx is is midi on the tempo faders and not HID.. all please just tell which rb controller does .02 and i will buy it

I don't understand how you could possibly tell the fact that your RB is jumping in 0.1 steps - there's no way you could hear that. I also don't believe that the RX does not work the way I've described (or to put it another way - I don't believe that it doesn't have the resolution needed to accurately beat match).
But to answer your question - I have the DDJ-RZ (which probably even has the same tempo sliders as your controller) and it works as I've described... although the display will only show .1 difference in tempo - eg 132.0 to 132.1... when I change the tempo slider it'll be changing in much smaller increments in between 132.0 and 132.1.
honestly my screen moves in .1 increments as does the controller the screen moves plus or minus in jumps of about ..07. If thats what the software says then thats what its doing its is not magically doing something else! i can beat match ok with the unit lets wait and see what pioneer say.
