BUGS WITH REKORDBOX AND CDJ2000NXS NOT LOADING TRACKS

Hi all,

I recently purchased a new HP laptop and rekordbox is suffering as a result. It takes an eternity to analyse track data and crashes when doing 2 tasks. Furthermore, my CDJ's fail to open rekordbox when connected to the Pro DJ link.

I didn't think about rekordbox when I got it and it has an AMD processor which is the only real difference that I can see between that and my old laptop.

Does anyone know of a fix?

Please help

Rekordbox does not support AMD processors, as stated in the minimum system requirements.

Hi Mark,

you are confusing. I am running rekordbox on a machine having an AMD processor without any problem. What makes AMD not compatiple? Is this for all processor families or just specific ones. This answer seem to be too generic.

In addition your link to the system requirements is not working on my iPad. The URL seem to have changed. On rekordbox.com I have found the requirements.

@Frank > ALL AMD processors are not guaranteed to perform as expected as they haven't been tested to the same degree as Intel processors. As such, we don't recommend DJs use AMD processors with rekordbox.

Indeed! I know I've tested it on two different AMD computers, one worked no problems, the other had heaps of issues regardless of the graphics chipset being used. I don't recall which processor family was used (they weren't the newest gen, that's for sure), but the unfortunate answer is we can't officially support every possible configuration, so it's easiest to make a blanket "no AMD" statement.
