Autocue not working Mac and Nexus 2000

Hello,

I'm using rekordbox on my Mac and when I export my playlist to my USB and put it into the CDJ Nexus 2000, it doesn't automatically load the hot cues despite the setting being turned on.

I have to call it each time otherwise it will go back to the cue point of the last track I played on that CDJ. I used the same settings on my friend's PC and we tested it with a Nexus 2000 and it loaded the cues automatically. Please take a look at this Pioneer! Any suggestions?

Here are my settings attached.

Hi Patrick,

how are you loading the tracks? With the Rotary knob or via the Track Search Buttons? With the Rotary Knob the Hot Cues must load. In case you are using the Track Search the hot Cue does not load automatically - this is not a bug but a Feature.

I stumbled into the same trap.

I'm using the rotary knob. The only thing that mind boggles me is that it works when exported from a PC but not my mac for some random reason.

Are you talking the Hot Cue or Memory Cue? Your Auto Cue Level is -60DB. Please Switch it to '1. Memory Cue'.

Do you have Auto Cue enabled on the CDJ?

Ok I'll switch the auto cue level and see if it makes a difference. When I export these settings to a USB, the cdj says that auto cue is on, but when press the hot cues, it just goes to the previous track.

This happens to me only when loading the track with the Track Search button. And this is the expected behaviour.
You're saying it happens when loading the track via selecting with the Rotary knob. and load.

Strange... you may need to wait for the Pioneer Folks to help you further. My Setting are pretty much the same as yours. Except my Play mode is 'single' I got a different language, and my sync is off.

btw. I got a XDJ-1000 but the CDJ-2000nxs2 should behave the same with that function.
And I am using a PC - maybe this is a rekordbox issue...

Hi again.

Can you do one more check?
Do a right click (on PC - not sure what it is on a MAC) onto one of the tracks in library from rekordbox which doesn't load the Hot Cues. There is a Setting in the library talking about the Auto Hot Cue loading.

There might be a Chance that tracks imported before the Auto load Setting has been activated will not Auto load even if the Setting in you preferences is set.

You may select all tracks in your library and activate the Auto load there, After that you Need to update your USB drive.

At least you can give it a try.

You can activate a 'Hot Cue' column in the library.

This would Show you if the Auto load is active by track.

Thanks for the reply Frank. I right clicked after selecting all the tracks and I selected to make sure that the hot cue auto load was turned on. I will check it on a CDJ next time I'm near one and see if this fixes it.

Maybe a per song basis trumps the overall settings in the program.

UPDATE!!!

I had a gig last night and right clicking and enabling auto cue on for all tracks at the same time worked perfectly! There were no issues whatsoever and everything worked flawlessly.

The important thing I learned:

So you must have to do this each time you export a USB just to make sure that no songs had an individual setting that overrode the main settings.
