Seguirkick drum "crunch" sounds when changing BPM
So as the title states. So lets say i have a track with original BPM of 132 and move it up to 138 or even 2-3 bpms. When mixing with another track lets say original BPM of 138, the kick from the track with the BPM changed has like a crunch sound when played with the other track. The crunch sound is like every other kick. Now, lets say the second track is at 134 and move it to 138 then both tracks played together sound ever worse. This happens also as well when lowering the BPM. Is anyone else having the same issue. I have sent the files to the engineers but i have yet to receive a response. Every time i mix, it makes my mix sound like crap. Not only that but it changes the quality of the track when the BPM is changed in ANY track. Please post if youre having the same issue. Thanks!!

What is the quality of the audio you're using (file type / compression setting)?
MP3 320kps. The thing is that this does not happen when the original BPMs of the tracks are the same. The minute you move the BPM up or down for any track, the sound of the kick changes and so does the quality of the song. The greater the BPM increase or decrease, the worse it gets. You can try this out yourself and see.
I've got an XDJ-RX and haven't noticed this issue myself.
Maybe some units are defective? I've seen other people complain about the same issue. You should take a track around 128-130 and move it up a few notches and you'll notice the kick has like a crunch to it and the quality of the track changes as welll. But when both tracks are originally the same BPM, it sounds perfect. I can hear it when I mix and also when I record my mixes and listen to them. Again, when changing the bpms on both tracks playing, it sounds bad. It sounds like a crunch and it also sounds as if the tracks were slightly out of sync when they are in fact mixed perfectly.
@pulse,
i found the culprit of the problem. Its the MASTER TEMPO button. So i did a test and i had a track playing at 136 (Original BPM), then i mixed a track that the original BPM was 134 and moved it to 136. As soon as i moved the BPM up, i could hear the "crunch" sound every other beat and the quality of the track dropped. I turned off MASTER tempo button off on this track and immediately the track sounded normal again. The crunch was gone and so was the bad quality of the track. It seems this is a work around but my issue is that lets say i have a track at 134 and i wanna play it at 138, if i turn off the master tempo and increase the BPM, the pitch of the song changes completely. Can you speak to your engineers in regards to this? Thanks!
