Hey there! I've had a problem with many pioneer ddj sx2 the last couple of days. It all started suddenly, when I turned on the controller after a short break. It worked perfectly fine 15 minutes earlier, but now the sound I awful. I use serato. At first I suspected the speakers, so I went home and changed it to med Argon Audio and the problem continued. Then I suspected my Pc to be the problem. I then connected my brand new stationary computer, and it continued ones again. I decided to check if all the software was updated. Both serato and my controller is up to date. Therefore I assumed the only thing left, could be the cables. I changed all the cables and it still continued. The main thing that concerns me is, the audio from the headset is also horrible. I've checked the internet and can't really seem to find this problem described any places. I've also called the pioneer support in Denmark the last four days, but they don't answer the phone. I hope there is a solution for this! Best regards !
Btw. When I say horrible sound, it's very scrappy, noisy and unbearable to listen to

Are you using the master output like ddj sx2 + audio interface? I have the same issue with splitted output, when I'm using monitor output on pioneer ddj and master output as ddj + audio interface. Sound is distorted after a while and going crazy. If I change the latency, everything is ok. After a while it starts again.
