Since it's occurring only on the single CDJ this definitely seems like a hardware issue isolated to the one unit. If possible, I would follow the easiest course of action and return it to the store you purchased it from for a new unit.

I just bought 2 CDJ NXS2 players and one of them (only one) is consistently having an issue that if I hit the slip mode button and use the touch screen to activate a slip roll or loop the player will freeze up to the point that I have to shut it down and restart it. Both of my players are updated to firmware 1.51 and this happens with multiple different USB sticks, or in Link mode, and with different songs, but again only on that particular player. What ca I do? Or do I need to return it to the store as defective ?
