Rekordbox 4.2.4 / Itunes 12.5.3.17 on a Mac / playlist sync issues

Hi Folks,

did Apple change anything again to Playlists? After updating Rekordbox and itunes to the latest versions I do not see my latest playlists of Itunes in my Rekordbox. Is this the end of iTunes for initial sorting? It's quite annoying ...

If you read the update notes, it also says you may need to un-check and re-check the playlists in the Sync Manager.

Preferences / Advance Preferences and check share iTunes library XML with other applications is ticked.

It's working fine for me with both those versions :-)

Thanks for getting bak to me, but both does not work.

I did un-check and re-check, but without any luck. itunes is set to share XML playlists.

I've took the time to record a video demonstrating the issue in more depth.

I couldn't watch over 5 minutes to get all the details... but I skipped through it and it looked like (around the 5 minute mark) you had quit iTunes (which is recommended) and then went into rekordbox, but didn't tick the boxes in the Sync Manager.

Once you've ticked the boxes for the playlist folder, hit that big arrow between the two panels, then click Close.
