Not recommended, and not officially supported, but unofficially you should be able to map your music folder to a drive letter and access it that way.
Hi,
I'm new to Rekordbox. Used Traktor and Serato before, but I have a new Pioneer DDJ-RX and I want to access my music on my network drive.
The network drive shows in Explorer on my laptop, but not in the file tree within Rekordbox (DJ) on the same laptop - How can I add it please so that it shows and can be accessed?
Cheers

Not sure about Windows but I can't do this on a Mac. My tunes are all stored on a networked drive on my server.
I can add the tunes to Rekordbox though by browsing to the folder in Finder and dragging the tracks/folders into the Rekordbox window... works great adding tunes this way - presume it'd work the same in Windows.
This is a pretty important feature not to leave out. It may be over the top to do off site backups but who doesn't store their music library on a RAID network storage ? I have a synology here which gives me 10TB in Raid5 for now.
After you have mapped the network drive in Windows , previewing the Flac files crashed Recordbox multiple times.
I say it's a must to properly test this out.
Synology has an audio station feature. I've been adding selected files to a playlist in that and may have to be the initial step before copying to a local drive. Audio station can stream proxy files or the original files for previewing.
An integration with a playlist in Audio Station might be good.
