Have you ensured that your graphics drivers are up to date? Or have you tried lowering the refresh rate?
Hi there. I have a 144hz monitor and it seems like rekordbox does not support that. I see a lot of tearing on the beatwaves.
Is there a workaround for this, or a way to force this? Or maybe implemented in the future?
Thanks in advance :)

Do you have a nvidia card?
@Pulse driver is up to date. I have no tried to lower the refresh rate, that's probably a solution but I was hoping there was another one where i can keep it on 144hz.
@chris nope
It could simply be an issue of the drawing refresh rate of the software conflicting mathematically with the refresh rate of your display. Please try a lower framerate first to see if that helps.
If you can also post some details about the graphics card/chipset you're using (along with driver version), the monitor make / model and resolution setting, as well as operating system version, I'll pass this along to our rekordbox team for info as well.
@Pulse Lowering the refreshrate to 60hz gets rid of the tearing, however it still doesn't appear very smooth. (edit: to clarify, it appears snappy, not a very fluent beatwave).
I'm not sure that's because I'm used to a higher rate or something else. Maybe I'm just expecting too much out of it? I don't know.
I'll leave the specs either way:
graphics: AMD HD7850 (radeon software version 16.11.2)
monitor: BenQ XL2411T @1920 x 1080
OS: windows 10 64bit
Not that it matters, but I'm upgrading my computer soon to recent hardware (intel/nvidia), although I will keep the monitor.
Thank you for your time Pulse! :)
Don't know if you have the option with your card to turn on vsync ,turn triple buffering on or increase maximum pre rendered frames,I used to get bad screen tear when gaming and adjusting them settings helped,I have a nvidia card tho.
