Sync: Snap to Grid w/ 3 or 4 CDJs?

Hey Everyone,

This has puzzled me for a bit and I've tried to search thoroughly. I hope I'm not overlooking an existing thread. Apologies in advance if I am.

With the CDJ-2000NXS or NXS2, when you have two players in link mode, it's easy to hit master on one, sync on the other, and it will snap to the beat grid (pending you have set up the grids properly in RB).

Recently, I've been playing in clubs with 3 or 4 players linked, and when I try to do the above, it will only sync BPM but not snap to grid.

Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

P.S. Yes I know how to beatmatch by ear and can do so just fine. This is a question about the technology included and what I may be doing wrong to not achieve the desired results.
