Rekordbox DVS Effects

I understand that Echo etc does not work in time with the beats when in DVS mode with DJM mixers. Is there any way to control the effects in the software or do I have to purchase an external MIDI device. Can I use an external midi device alongside the mixer in DVS mode? Will using the tap button on the mixer get the effects on time otherwise?

1. You can control effects with external MIDI device alongside the mixer.

 

You may need to assign MIDI.

2. You can change "FX BPM" with tap button on the GUI (similar to Beat Effect of DJM)

 

・Click "BPM LABEL"

・Change to TAP MODE
