Rekordbox dvs plus pack. What does it add for me as a controller user ?

Hi,

 

 Feel as though I'm being a bit thick here. Just bought a new Pioneer DDJ-RZX and received the serial codes for DJ, VIdeo and DVS plus packs.

I already had the DJ plus pack activated from previously utilising a nexus 2 setup with rekordbox. I understand I can utilise the video plus pack to add something extra to my setup. I have long since sold my turntables so don't really need the functionality that the dvs plus pack will offer me as iam solely using my new DJ controller now.

My confusion comes from the wording on the dvs plus pack which mentions tighter control specifically mentioning with controllers.  So question is what would using my code to activate the dvs expansion bring to my use scenario ? Will I miss out on any useful functionality if I don't make use of the add on dvs pack ?

The purpose of the DVS pack is to primarily allow control of the software via vinyl, but also offers owners of CDJs which do not have USB control (eg. older CDJ-1000's) to use timecode to manipulate the software when using a DVS-compatible mixer.

As you're using an RZX, DVS functionality is really not needed, but available as an option to you should you desire! There's nothing else that is added to the software with that plus-pack.
