connecting non-pioneer device to network to receive clock data

is it possible to receive clock data, over the ethernet network, with a non-pioneer device?

I am currently trying to access clock data from a DJM-900NXS2 and or CDJ 2000nxs over the network (or by other means) via an arduino or similar embedded architecture with Ethernet or midi capability.

Via MIDI, BPM data is sent from the DJM. When using Pro DJ Link, proprietary data packets are sent. There's currently a collective of power users who are looking into the matter. Search the forum here for Ableton posts and you'll discover it.
