DDJ SX2 Master Volume and Headphone Volume in Serato

Can anybody help me??

FIRST AND FOREMOST: Everything is hooked up properly and there is no issue with the software, firmware, or hardware. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Serato twice now, and double checked to make sure the firmware is correct and up to date.

MY ISSUE:

I am having an issue getting the master volume control on the controller to control the master volume in Serato. I am also having an issue hearing master volume through the headphones when they are connected to the DJ controller. When the headphones are plugged in, I can hear master cue volume and the regular cue volume, but I cannot hear the actual master volume. The knob on the controller only controls the volume on the mixer itself and not in Serato. I have not had this issue with previous pioneer dj controllers, and I have already sold my previous DDJ-SR. This is my first time using a big boy deck so maybe I did something wrong along the way during the update process, but my software, hardware, and firmware are all up to date.

Any and all help is appreciated. This is very frustrating and I keep seeing threads on various forums addressing the same and similar issues....but for some reason people private message the answers to the OP instead of commenting on the threads themselves.

Could this potentially be a midi USB cable issue or a power cable issue? I have several spares to use, but if it has to be the specific cable that is supplied by pioneer then that would make sense. I've never had an issue using different cables in the past that are not the specific cables that come in box from Pioneer.
