Since my successful Migration to Rekordbox i also tried to import/recreate some of my old Samples/Loops for the Samplerdeck.
i just used the standard feature with the scissors icon and moving the clip/loop into a free samplerdeck cell.
unfortunately i mentioned that many samples where just created but couldnt be played by the sampler.
Viewing those files in the Rekordbox Database/Explorer Node, they are marked with a red stop symbol like the files are corrupt or not playable by the software.
Looking at the default save-location in the mac-finder these extracted samples however are being stored and created correctly as .wav Files. I can also play them by doubleclicking in Itunes or other apps. They sound exactly like i wanted them.
The strange thing.. The import into a deck or the sampler in Rekordbox is just not possible. In addition .. When i manually convert those extracted .wav files into .mp3 files they are importable and playable as normal sample files.
Does anyone have an idea if i am maybe just doing something wrong or having the same issue?
