DDJ-1000 keyboard mode with performance pads

Hi!

I picked up a DD-1000 this weekend, great unit so far, but one question....

When using the pads in the keyboard mode, is there anyway to make the hot cue play when only holding the pads down? So more like when you actually play a piano/keyboard? The cue button acts like this when held down and your track is stopped and would seem more intuitive to me.

Can appreciate people probably like the standard way too, but maybe a rekordbox preference option would be good.
