Rekordboxbox DJ freezes - PROBLEM SOLVED

Hello to all desperate Rekordbox DJ friends.

Controller: XDJ-RX and XDJ-RX2

Hardware: Asus ROG G750JS Gaming Notebook 44cm (17.3 "FHD), i7-4700HQ, 8GB RAM, ssd250 + 1500GB (7200), 2GB GTX 870M, WINDOWS 8.1

I have often written that I have several record problems with my system with Rekordbox DJ and that is a real problem with gigs. Rekordbox DJ simply hangs up after a while and stops with a soft whistle. After a restart of RB I can access the XDJ-RX again. This can occur after 1 minute or even after 50 minutes. Is really a problem at weddings or live gigs.

At first I thought it was due to the controller XDJ-RX which I then sold and replaced with a new XDJ-RX2. But unfortunately the problem was not solved. It happened again and again. You probably ask yourself "why does not he put it on without software?" Yes, I can tell you, at a wedding you have to take a lot of music with you and then you can just search for it I basically take my 17 "notebook with me my 45 years late in the evening with a little beer just look bad, so the notebook and because the search function is just better as the XDJ-RX2 directly.

Now I've been looking for more than a year, sent LOG files to Pioneer, no one could help BIS NOW.

The assumption of Pioneer was that it could give problems with Windows 10 fall creators update. My notebook was initially running on Windows 8.1, now in retrospect, I was aware that there were no problems even under Windows 10 WARNING Version 1511, since the update was imposed on me by Microsoft, I had to do that and all other updates too? !?!?

Finally, I've made the effort NOW again to go Windows 8.1 laboriously to collect all the drivers and after a 3-day test, I can say ... THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED!

WINDOWS 10 Case Creator is not compatible with record box DJ and not recommended.

PLEASE NOTE TO PIONEER, PLEASE FIXT THE PROBLEM WITH WINDOWS 10 Version 1709 because Windows 8.1 is really garbage .

 

PLEASE PIONEER SEND ME A NOTIFICATION WHEN THE PROBLEM UNDER WINDOWS 10. 1709 IS SOLVED !!!!

I use 1709 as my testbed here and I've not run into the same issues, but that's not to say there aren't other problems with Windows causing this to occur on your machine. Please file an inquiry ticket here and our rekordbox support team will be able to gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.

same exact problem. rb wont even lauch unless its on a win 8.1 machine
