DDJ RX no sounds after mixing a few tunes

Hi

I bought my DDJ RX in February and since then have had nothing but problems since Rekordbox asked me to update. When I start playing a tune on the left deck it works fine, I mix in another track on the right deck and all seems fine but after maybe three or four tracks the audio just goes. The waveform is still moving but whichever deck Im playing a tune on it just has a red ring and I cannot control the movement of the track playing therefore cannot stop it. This is highly annoying as I spent nearly £1,000 on this and just cant seem to get it working properly.

I have tried to update to latest firmware of the DDJ RX but there isn't any more that have come out. I was thinking of reverting back to the original Rekordbox software it came with (before I got bombarded with pop ups asking me to update) but I cant remember which version that was.

I have asked friends or other people online but no one seems to know so I thought I'd post here. I'll show you my specs so that you know what system Im playing on perhaps in some way that will help.

AMD FX (tm) - 6300 six core processor 3.50GHz

RAM - 12gb

64bit

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

I have looked at this forum and other sites but nothing comes close to my problems. Please do bear with me as there maybe some things I dont understand so may need to have things explained once or twice. I bought this to make it easier for gigs and want to do Facebook Live videos but so far its given me a headache and Ive been using my old Numark controller.

One more thing to add as well is that when I try to video stream my DJ sets the likes of OBS or Wirecast knocks the audio out straight away. Hope you can all help

Many thanks

Danny

Many DJ & audio companies do not support AMD processors ... and with that unfortunate statement, I'll inform you that I can't provide any additional support as rekordbox is not designed to run on AMD, thus any issues you may encounter are possibly to do with the processor. Sorry!

Aside from the fact that Pioneer documentation make no reference AMD processors is supported with REKORDBOX could be a possible factor. One way to ensure that controller itself isn't at fault is to find a INTEL based CPU PC or laptop running one of the supported operating systems found in link below.

We often times assume hardware is at fault but most controllers depend on PC software to function properly. Ensure the PC OS is running only but REKORBOX too, test without the addition of other software components which could interfere such as antivirus etc..

So do the process of elimination and make your way from there. Good luck

If the problem is AMD then Im f**ked :( may have to fork out for a laptop if that is the case. I'll try and do the process of elimination the next time I get the chance. Why is there no support for AMD? just my luck lol. Bought this new PC last year was expensive just hope its nothing to do with AMD.
