DDJ-RZX Rekordbox File Search Bug?/Pitch Fader Accuracy/Lighting Mode Mapping

Apologies for the long winded title.

System Specs
2015 MacBook Pro Quar-Core i7 2.2 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 512 SSD
DDJ-RAX connected directly to laptop via USB

Picked up a DDJ-RZX and have learned it inside out after studying the manual and several hour of hands on time. Great bit of kit, but I'm running into some issues:

Pitch Fader Accuracy. I was hoping for some improvement after reading the Firmware notes from 9/2017, but the Pitch Fader accuracy/consistency is still struggling. The values after the decimal jump dramatically, even with the finest of movements. Even trying to get a round number is finicky. It's a stark contrast to its CDJ-NXS2 counterpart. I've tried adjusting the latency in RBDJ as well as other settings (GPU, etc.) but I'm still not able to achieve consistent, concise results. Am I neglecting a certain setting that will give me more accuracy on par with XDJ/CDJ hardware?

Center Screen Search Function Bug?. I'm able to scroll/browse the RBDJ library via the center screen on the DDJ-RZX, but when I press the search bar on the middle screen and am presented with the QWERTY keyboard, no of the keys respond to my touch. When I try using the Browse Knob to scroll through the letters, the search GUI disappears and returns to the previous browsing screen. I've double checked all my options in RBDJ but can't find anything related to QWERTY keyboard response. Again, am I missing something really obvious?

Lighting Mode Mapping. I don't really use the Slice function, so I had to delete all the Slice related pads (note: I wasn't able to reassign/add them directly from the Controller tab, I had to do so from Lighting tab) and after deleting I've remapped all of the pads related to Slice to control various Lighting Mode controls (High/Med/Low/Off etc) using the Learn function. What I've found is that the pads I've assigned all turn white (faded white, illuminating more when active) and I'm not able to make any changes to their color or see any information about the pads on the DDJ-RZX screen.. Is there a way for me to assign a different color to each pad via RBDJ or the DDJ-RZAX hardware?

@Pulse or anyone else, any tips?

Cheers.

1) Not sure, may have to file a ticket for that.

2) I believe this is on the next rekordbox update, due next week.

3) I don't recall, but doesn't the RZX have access to the Pad Editor? If not, you'll have to use the MIDI mapper, and even then, I believe it sends colours for the specific colour overrides (eg. red pad for the RED lighting mode).

Thanks for the reply @Pulse.

1. Will do.

2. Sweet, glad to hear it.

3. I've only been able to use the Pad Editor with the XP1, not with any of the controller I own (DDJ-1000 and DDJ-RZX). All my remapping was done via MIDI Mapper. Admittedly, I only assigned the energy types (hi/mid/low) and the warm/cool/club1/club2 settings (which are displaying as white) so I'm not sure if assigning a straight single color-light setting will default to that color. I'll check and report back. What's odd is that after setting my re-mappings under the Lighting tab, there are no options or drop down menus for me to access. For example, there is not a column for colors or a drop down box that would enable me to define the color of the tab.

Just following up: @Pulse is spot on, when assigning Lighting Modes that have colored descriptions (ex: Cyan, Red, etc.) the corresponding pad will change to the respective color. The pads remain white for all other settings. What would be sweet is to integrate Lighting Mode as an option for the RZX so that the remapped MIDI pads would display on the screen letting the user know what each pad's function is. Not really necessary for the colored pads, for the generic white pads for non-color functions, this could be helpful. I digress.

@Pulse please mark this as closed/solved.
