Wavering wave form RB 5.2 dvs Vinyl

Hey guys, trying to work out if I have lost the plot!

My wave forms constantly change from say 135.0 up .1 and down .1 every few seconds on both turntables.

I have no problem with mixing regular vinyl, but this has caused a nightmare for trying to keep things beatmatched. It's constantly up and down. Unlike a controller or cdjs etc which obviously stick exactly to the bpm you have moved the pitch tempo to.

Are my technics both faulty or what is going on?

I can mix vinyl and have 14 yrs experience of mixing on vinyl, cdjs & controllers. I am getting a bit bored of trying to keep things in time when they are beatmatched perfectly in the headphones its like RB keeps fighting me to keep it in time by moving everything out of time!

If it helps I am more than happy to make a video of it.

Hello Phat Farmer,

Will you please take a video of before and when the issue occurred.
Also, please take another video of the waveform from [Preferences>DVS>Control Signal Setting] while the issue is occurring.

It would be a great help for engineers to identify the root cause of the issue.

Thank you for your kind cooperation.

Best regards,

CRM, Pioneer DJ

How's the wow/flutter on your turntable? Is the player solid? Do you have the TT's grounded properly? How do the DVS scope views appear? Normal or fuzzy? Misshapen or circular? Did you run the calibration on the DVS page? Does the same thing happen with side B of the vinyl?

Hey Pulse, the players are solid with regular vinyl. They are grounded correctly. Scopes seem relatively normal to me, circular. I've run all the calibration, seems to be both sides of the vinyl. I have 11yrs experience of using DVS and tcv with dvs's. This has been such a let down having spent nearly £1100 on a DJM 750mk2 (which I am totally happy with i might add) but Rb & these tcv just seems shocking compared to Traktor or even the amazing discontinued Torq 2.5!

There are a lot of shortcomings with the software in my opinion and a lot of small things that should just work in a way that they just don't seem to. I would love to discuss this more if that is at all possible.

Is there anyway we can private message Pulse? Thanks

It's possible that both vinyl are subject to a production error - I'll open a ticket and see if we can't get this sorted out for you.
