Syncing Database with Dropbox
Hey all,
I'm following this guide from Pulse on how to sync your database with dropbox. I can't seem to get passed step #6. Whenever I get everything lined up and go to try to open Rekordbox again, I get an error that says "unable to open the database file and any files backed up automatically" and it initializes my new database file. Copying over the .edb files again don't seem to make any difference. I've also tried copying over the automixPlaylist.xml and a few other files that aren't mentioned in the guide. No luck.
Rekordbox understands that my Database is in the new location per the changed settings file, but it won't read my current one.
Any ideas?

I'm on Mac, should have specified. I believe I got this to work. I had to change your guide in two majorly specific ways:
1) On step number 6, after opening Rekordbox and the new location database initializing, I had to restore from a backup (which restored the backup into the new database location).
2) I also had to change the rekordbox.settings file on my secondary computer in order for it to point to the cloud database.
We'll see how it works over time, thanks for sharing your unofficial work. Still blows my mind how convoluted Rekordbox can be and all the issues I've had after using Serato for years and having absolutely zero problems with my database ever,
