Hi Pioneer Support. I recently purchased a DDJ1000 second hand from a well known internet auction site, and I am keen to get back to some DJing fun after many years break with some awesome equipment!
On inspection of the unit however, the serial number seems to reference the work 'Sample', and the unit comes in a plain white box, and not the regular retail one. Now before I get stuck in I wanted to ask you if there was a risk that the unit might not be of production specification, and would in some ways be different/of a lower quality from one that came through regular retail channels? The 'Sound Color FX' section appears to have stickers on the keys to indicate that the placement of the buttons was mixed up on this unit?
I just wanted to make sure I don't risk having a unit that might be not fully supported moving forward.
Your advice is very much appreciated.

If someone has sold a sample unit, it would be important for us to know who sold it, as samples are property of Pioneer DJ and not for resale.
