Sorry, but the serial that was delivered with the XDJ-R1 was for rekordbox 2, which required a serial number to enable EXPORT mode. In version 3, that was made available as a free function. When rekordbox 4 introduced performance mode via the "dj" plugin, serial activation was once again enabled, but your old rekordbox 2 serial is not valid for rekordbox dj (either version 4 or 5), and must be purchased separately.

You can still use rekordbox to prepare and export music to a USB drive for use with the R1 without a license in EXPORT mode, or you can activate a 30-day free trial of PERFORMANCE mode.
