What are the recommended output settings for the DDJ1000?
I find setting too much headroom or lowering the deck dB gain in the settings, results in a far more lifeless sound.
Similarly too much the other way and the gains are way too high at 11 o’clock and sound distorted.
Obviously looking at driving each channel no higher than in the yellow.

Adjust the trim to have the channel meter peaking at the first orange LED, and then take the channel fader full open, crossfader to that side (or disabled) and adjust the master knob so the master meter shows the same levels.
