DJM900nexus2 digital master out cuts booth monitor sound

Trying to setup the DJM900nexus2 mixer using the DIGITAL MASTER OUTPUT, but as soon as the digital cable is plugged into the DIGITAL MASTER OUTPUT the BOOTH MONITOR volume is cut.

Using the DJM900Nexus, this issue does not happen.

Is this normal for the DJM900Nexus2 mixer?
