DDJ RS "ducking mechanism"

 I picked up up a DDJ-SR. Last night I noticed that the volume drops when I start to fade over in a mix. Have any of you came across this, and if so how did you resolve the matter?

That's the crossfader curve you have applied. Try changing the curve pattern with the dial on the front of the unit.
