What is asking you to change the buffer size? An error message?
What is the default PC Master audio device? That could be your problem.
Hello!
My DDJ-RB have been working fine until the more recent Rekorbox updates. I am now completely unable to use PC master out as it always ask me to change the buffer size, standard is 256 sample but unless I go really high. 576 samples or above to be precise it, just won't output any sound through the PC and at that point everything is laggy and totally unusable, music stops etc.
I'm running the latest driver and firmware (1.30 and 1.03 respectively ) on a Win 10 also with the latest updates with Rekordbox 5.4.0 on a i7 4770k @4.5Ghz.
Troubleshooting guide didn't help. I also have tried using older version of RB 5.2.0 and driver 1.210 and surprisingly that didn't work either.
Any thing I can do or should I just sell the controller?
.
Regards.

This box, I guess you could call it that but it doesn't specifically say "error" in that regard.
To be specific I am using Realtek High Definition Audio as default output in windows. The sounds does come but as I said at the sampling rate where it allows me to push the "Turn on PC MASTER OUT" icon without throwing this box the tracks stop for a second and then continue play for a second, stop, continue and so on. Hopefully I'm explaining it somewhat decently.
Update: version 5.4.1 seemed to have somewhat fixed my issues, at least now it's usable. I'm able to use PC speakers and go down to 320 samples, and the music doesn't stutter like it used to. The only thing that's still not perfect is that the waveform is still a bit twitchy. Shame it only took so long....(two months since I was last able to properly use it)
Try going into the Windows power settings and step the CPU maximum down to 99%. Many users have found this helps with the processor throttling which can cause some audio buffer issues.
