DDJSX2 and SDJ Issue with Audio, Functions

Hi,

I have recently been having issues with my Pioneer DDJSX2 and SDJ.  Just kind of happened out of nowhere.

-Wave Forms are Invisible when track loaded, Controller buttons still work the software, No Audio

- Sometimes Wave forms are invisible, and Audio comes out

- At Plug in, Software Pitch controls are at Max Negative Position

- Lose control of FX in the Controller, and in Software

- Cross Fader will reduce the level of the audio (When Audio works) on playing deck when fading into the next track at 1/4th position from A to B channel assign and vise versa.  At Center Cross Fader Position, both track levels are reduce.

- When Cross fader is disabled, Channel fader levels work correctly.

I thought the issue might have been from running older SDJ, so I upgraded to latest Serato Pro.

Had same issues with different laptops, so now looking at being Hardware Issue.

Hey Mario - thanks for following up!

This one is a bit tricky... from your post, this makes it sound like a software issue:

- Wave Forms are Invisible when track loaded,
- Sometimes Wave forms are invisible, and Audio comes out
- Lose control of FX in the Controller, and in Software

But this makes it sound like hardware:

- At Plug in, Software Pitch controls are at Max Negative Position
- When Cross fader is disabled, Channel fader levels work correctly.

The fact you've used it on different computers will point more to it being hardware-related, so my suggestion is for you to contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or serviced.

Got it! Thanks, I was dreading that answer.  Ive had a couple of DJ Clients experience similar issues with this unit, once I replaced the unit, everything seemed fine. I initially suspected software, and thought that if I update SDJ to the latest version, it would fix my issue. Nope. Replacing the DDJ fixed my issue. lol SMH. Thanks again for your reply.

Unfortunate, but glad to hear things worked with another DDJ.
