I purchased a sx3 and weeks later heard there is a recall. When to exchange my sx3 (which was already giving me sound problems ) for the one with the black dot. Well I got tricked at store and they gave me another recalled one.
So I send it to pioneer for fixing and they changed transistor. It came back still not working
Constant Static , dropped sound.
We went through every possibility by anything external cables , surge , laptop etc.
went then to drop it off at certified repair person and he changed changed transistor again. Worked for like 2 hours then during a wedding made a screach noise. Left jog wheel stopped lighting up. 5 minutes later music stopped and a super loud static screach and stopped working.
I want a whole new unit or my money back but they won’t do that. Spending hundreds on rental gear since I do about 2-3 weddings a weekend. I have almost bought 2 sx3 in cost already.

This is my biggest nightmare. Such problems at the wedding event.
I have already some issues but not that big ones. But I am still very afraid of starting wedding season with SX3. Still using SX1 for sure. SX3 is not working in Vinyl mode after recall. The jog wheels are not scratching.
I was thinking about getting DDJ 1000 or DDJ RX2, but can we trust Rekordbox when we can't trust Pioneer gear?
