First and foremost, no mapping is required - but you'll need to update rekordbox to 5.x in order for that RX2 to work.
Ok. I've been searching the technical documents and these forums and it appears my issue is not documented. But first, since you guys always ask the for the following information, I will provide it here and now before I state my issue:
Macintosh OS X 10.13.06
Pioneer XDJ-RX2 Firmware Ver 1.33
Rekordbox DJ 4.5.0 REV. 10870-11574-11418
- No updates currently available
I can use the RX2 in standalone mode with a USB stick fine.
I can use the RX2 in LINK/EXPORT mode fine with my computer as a library.
When I first put the device in MIDI mode nothing worked. I looked into the MIDI settings in rekordbox and there were no mappings. I could not find a .csv file to import from your downloads site or the software dmg.
So, I manually mapped all the controls that I could find. I got most of them but the jog wheels still do not work. There are no "JOG" labeled functions in the midi settings options when you click ADD under the DECK tab. There is no jog option anywhere in the midi section.
So almost ALL the controls on the device are mapped except for the jog wheels.
Does pioneer offer a MIDI file for rekordbox that will work with this device?
If yes, where can I download the .csv file so I can import it?
If not, how do I map the jog wheels on each deck?

Interesting. There is no update in update manager. Do I need to download version 5 directly?
If it doesn't prompt you, then yes - you can download it directly from rekordbox.com.
Got it. Works as promised. Like the new look too.
Awesome! Enjoy. :)
Once you are connected to Rekordbox DJ and out of stand alone mode can you use the 'Performance Editor' to assign 'Sequence Call' to the XDJ-RX2?
- I am trying to use the sequencer feature in some shape or form :)
