Line-in very low

hi, I have a DDJ-RX and a DDJ-1000 and line-in levels are very low in both, I have tried everything, different sources, different cables and with gain Max I don’t even see the orange color in the VU. Any help? Thanks a lot!

iPhone, iPad, iPod...i know these devices have lower output than cdjs for example but I think the output level is too low

Yes, they are low, but I've used an iPhone and iPad with my DDJ-1000 and haven't had to turn the channel gain above 12 o'clock -- are you turning the volume up to full on the device?

thanks for answering. The volumen of my devices (iPhone, ipad..) are max. Is my ddj-1000 broken then? What iPhone and ipad do you use?
