Rekordbox 5.4.2 problem

Hi,

Just upgraded to 5.4.2 and it is unusable for me.  I have a DDJ-1000 (running 1.05 before you ask).  The whole thing just freezes for a couple of seconds at a time randomly and often. 

I have used Task Manager to see if there is anything using resources and there isn't.   

I am getting a message in the bottom left when it freezes telling me to move the tempo slider to the correct BPM.  When beat sync is on it freezes and then a red error message comes up in the bottom left telling me "Invalid operation: In sync mode, Tempo Slider is only available for Master Deck." I'm not even touching the Tempo Sliders!

Please help :)
