XDJ-RX2 Export Link Error E-8306 with WAV files

As the title says, every wav file that is being loaded in export link pops up that error. It doesn't even takes time for it to load, it just automatically shows the error.

WAVs on USB sticks and on MIDI mode work alright.

Frimware is up to date, rekordbox as well.

by the way, wavs on usb sticks with playlists exported through rekordbox won't work as well. Looks like it'll work as long as rekordbox hasn't touched those files. Is there any solution to this?

The reason the error occurs is because you have some element of your network connection being blocked so the file is not transmitted to the RX2 properly. You can troubleshoot this by disabling your firewall completely. In order to fully allow the RX2 to communicate with rekordbox, you need to allow these 4 processes through:

For Windows:

C:\program files\yourusername\rekordbox version-number\edb_streamd.exe - TCP
C:\program files\yourusername\rekordbox version-number\psvnfsd.exe - UDP
C:\program files\yourusername\rekordbox version-number\psvlinksysmgr.exe - TCP
C:\program files\yourusername\rekordbox version-number\rekordbox.exe - TCP

If you're on a Mac, you need to allow those same things, but from within the rekordbox application itself (right click on it and select "Show Package Contents").

Let me know if you require additional instruction on that.

I tried allowing everything on the firewall and tried turning it off as well. None of those alternatives worked. Still gives me the same error. I'm on Mac.

I tried re-installing the driver you suggested and did not change a thing. :( Is there anything else I can do?

Are you connecting to a computer with a USB-C to USB-A adapter?
