DDJ-SB3 Headphone Cue buttons not turning on but the master does

HI i recently purchased the ddj-sb3, I've used it a few times now and it worked fine. today when i plugged everything in, the controller is working great except now the 1 & 2 headphone cue button under the 'master' button aren't working. i checked all cords and settings, everything is good. is it possibly the controller itself?

so basically I'm trying to hear the tracks through my headphones so i can mix is what I'm asking help for lol

Do the buttons light up when you press them?
