I'm having my first international booking in 3 weeks; as i play very high BPM music a laptop setup is a very common sight on events, i also want to try this out bringing my controller for max performance.
I found a guide how to wire this up to a DJM Mixer, connecting the output from the controller to a spare CD/Line channel on the mixer and connecting the USB port from the controller to the laptop (That should be correct i believe)
But the video doesn't go indepth with settings, So my question is:
What Driver do you select when wiring up to a club setup? The driver of the controller unit (DDJ 400 in this case) or the driver of the mixer connected to (I assume a DJM-850/900 in this case)
Can't test this out myself as i don't have a DJM-mixer
If someone could verify these wirings are correct and which driver i need to select would be very great.

This is simple to do so don't panic!
Connect your USB to your laptop and then connect the phono into a spare channel on the DJM, make sure the channel is set to receive phono input and the volume fader on the channel is all the way up.
Once this is done set-up your laptop as you normally would if connecting from the DDJ-400 straight to speakers, set your audio output to the DDJ-400 and you're ready to rock!
