lol, did you actually just say " high quality MP3 " .You do realise MP3's are a lossy format don't you?
If you want high quality, you need to be using ALAC, FLAC or WAV files, which are Lossless of course!
As a Pioneer Fan I'm really disappointed about the sound quality of the controllers.
I had the Pioneer DDJ SX-2 and played outside of a club. The sound quality was really not as good as the guy who came with a 99$ Native Instruments Interface and played on Ableton. DON'T ask me if I did any Settings wrong!!!! I used high quality MP3, same as the guy after me. I put everything out of the reds. I made a lot of tests for sound quality and alot of people who switched from Pioneer to Denon or Roland Controllers said the sound qulaity on them is a big improvement. These controllers are at the sam price as Pioneer. Sound Qulaity is one of the most important. I would even pay 100$ more for good sound quality! So far I had to sell my SX-2 and had to got something what the club onwer and me appriciates in terms of sound quality.
