DDJ WEGO4 won't connect to my Mac

DDJ WEGO 4 connected to my mac through rekordbox when I first took it out of the box. I hooked it up to my iPhone through wedj and now the controller won't recognize my Mac. Or vice a versa. I checked system settings for sound output and rekordbox settings. The WEGO4 is selected. Please help.

Check that the computer recognizes it as a USB device

  1. With the unit powered-on and connected via USB, open the System Report by click the Apple icon > About this Mac > System Report.
  2. In the left pane, click Hardware (if not already open) > USB.
  3. On the right, look for the DDJ-WeGO4 and click it to see if the details are provided.

See if the OS recognizes it as a MIDI Device

  1. Open the Audio MIDI Setup app.
  2. Open the MIDI Studio window if it's not open; Window > Show MIDI Studio.
  3. See if the DDJ-WeGO4 appears in the window with a solid color.
  4. If it does not appear, you can try creating a new MIDI Configuration.
  5. Click the drop-down (currently showing Default in the image above) and select New Configuration...
  6. Give the new configuration a name and click OK.
  7. The connected devices will be scanned and your DDJ-WeGO4 should appear.

Check the audio device

  1. Open the Audio MIDI Studio app.
  2. Open the Audio Devices window if it's not open; Window > Show Audio Devices.
  3. Verify that the DDJ-WeGO4 appears as an audio device on the left.
