You didn't potentially connect to a mixing console with phantom power enabled on your inputs, did you?
Hi,
I have a DDJ SX2 that I bought from a friend. I've had it for about two months and it was like new when I bought it. Since then I've used it 4-6 times a week for 1-2 hours a day.
I'm preparing for a show tomorrow, and just today, I arrived to the venue (which it had worked perfectly at the day before) and found that I could not hear any tracks until I turned to master level to almost full just to achieve the same volume that I had gotten the day before with a moderate master level. No settings had been changed on my computer, or the venue's PA.
Next, my headphones are receiving no signal besides a clicking noise. Regardless of headphone level, cue settings, etc.
Last there is a constant clicking noise coming from the master output. It clicks in a constant rhythm and some of the lights on the DJ controller even slightly pulse with the clicking.
Again, everything mentioned above was working perfectly just the day before. I did experience some issues with a potentially corrupt .wav file not playing while running through Serato but this did not affect anything at the time. I've tried unplugging every cable and rebooting everything used with the controller but have not had any luck.
I've seen a few other identical cases of this problem but found no clear answers. I would really appreciate any help!
