New 128GB MacBook Pro with DDJ-1000

Want to replace my 2012 MacBook Pro with a new one. However, apple comes with models that have only 128 GB hard disk space. My music files are being played through Rekordbox and are at least 250 GB. Who can give me some advise how to handle this? Is playing music files via an external disk recommended? Thanks!

You can order a new Mac Book Pro with up to 2tb ssd, so you can definitely get a MBP or even a Mac book air with more then 128gb drive installed.

I only use external drives so that I can move my music around without a specific lap top, and externals are very cheap in the size you can get. So revisit the MBP with a bigger drive, or just move to an external drive set up.

I'll second the external drive use - makes not paying the Apple Tax a luxury as you can afford more storage that way!
