I am having the same issue with my left fader, I don't know if its bad contact because some dust may have gotten inside, if its broken or what not or if its a rekordbox issue.

DDJ400 - Channel volume fader problem
Hi Pioneer,
My volume fader on channel 2 of my DDJ 400 is not working properly: when I increase volume slightly, from 0 to 1 bar, sound is coming out loud whereas it is not the case with Channel 1. I set the volume fader on linear, but even with exponential or logarithmic I have the same issue.
My DDJ400 is less than one year old and never had problems with it before.
How could I solve it?

im having the same issue, deck 1 fader, when i increase to the max it drops to almost the minimum

Provided you have the audio configuration set properly within rekordbox and don't have the DDJ-400 set as a default audio device within your OS, it could simply be a MIDI mapping issue. Open rekordbox, click the MIDI button, then click the DEFAULT button at the top right.
