Problems with DDJ SX3 play/pause button and jog wheels do not work

about 10 minutes ago i just got the ddj sx3 (with the black dot) and it isn't the recall issue. It really angers me that i spent over a thousand dallors and i cant do something as simple as hit play of the tracks on Serato. Everything other button on it seems to function on serato.
