No need to delete the existing version. You only have to activate the license and you will be able to use it with the DDJ-1000.
Everything you created so far (playlists, cues, loops) will remain.

Changing from free version of record box
HI all. I have already the free version of rekordbox on my computer,
I have recently purchased a ddj 1000. This will obviously come with the latest version of rekordbox .
Will I have to delete my existing version and if so how to I keep the playlists have already made within this version ?
