XDJ-XZ & RB - random display & stability issues - waveforms, cue points, crashes

During the first hrs of testing this unit, as I wanted to give it a fair shot, despite the flac issues (in stand alone mode - which I still find ridiculous...), I had:

- RB freeze on me, while scanning 35k+ files, and corrupting its' own database 3 times. Forcing a complete restart of the analyze process, throwing away up to 10+ hrs of analyzing time each time. What fun that was to even get into RB...

- While XDJ-XZ connected to RB and mixing, a brief drop out in sound (for 0.5-1 second) after which the unit's screen waveforms disappeared completely (from units main screen & jogs / RB on laptop was fine...). This happened twice in less than 2 hrs of mixing and was only correct-able through a hardware restart, or RB disconntect.

- 5 times (with different tracks, and at different times) I had cue points not being shown on the units' pads in Hot Cue mode, or wrongly so. i.e. in RB and on unit screen/ jog display there were 3 cue points set & shown. But only 1 pad or none was lit.

- once, while playing/mixing, I had RB freeze completely (UI freeze & spinning mouse pointer), still playing the current song, but impossible to choose another. After 15+ minutes, 10+ of it was silence, as the track ended, I had to force quit RB. Scary that this happens in the first 2 hrs of testing, whereas Traktor and Serato have frozen/crashed on me 2-3 times in 10+ years...

 

So my initial impressions as someone who considered switching to the XDJ-XZ & RB (or Serato again) (on top of the flac issues) aren't exactly convincing as you can probably guess...

But, any tips as to what might be happening or how to fix these issues ?

or are early adopters used to beta test this version and v1 firmware...?

Sorry to hear about the negative first impressions. First and foremost, it sounds like the majority of these issues are actually related to rekordbox / your computer.
