When trying to update the firmware for my ddj 1000 the percentage bar will stay on 0%. There is an "important notice" for mac os mojave users which i've followed the steps for multiple and it still does not work. Is there anyway around this even if it is temporary. Or if someone can provide the solution that'd be great.

I'd start by rebooting your computer, power off the DDJ, then connect the USB to the A port on the DDJ, power it back up in the force-update mode by holding down [SLIP REVERSE] and [4BEAT LOOP/EXIT] on the left deck. Run the updater again.
