Adding drum machine to Rekordbox

I got a DDJ 1000 and I am planing to buy a drum machine so I was wondering if rekordbox is compatible with Roland TR-09. I know that you can sync TR-09 to your dj set up using Serato so I was wondering if I could do the same with rekordbox. If not is there any other way to sync Tr-09 to DDJ 1000?

Currently, no, but we're waiting for Ableton Link to be added which would allow MIDI sync between rekordbox and external devices such as the TR-09.

Also, I was curious to know how to hook a drum machine and use it without sync. Is this possible at all?

Ableton Link was added to rekordbox last year with the release of version 6.

To connect a drum machine without sync would only be a matter of audio connections, so that comes down to the hardware you're using with rekordbox, not the software.
