Pioneer DDJ XP1 Effects not quantised

I have a Pioneer 2000nxs2 + DJM 900 nexus with the DDJ XP1 when i use effects such as roll on the mixer they are quantised perfectly but they aren't when i use the XP1 to do them. I have latest rekordbox and all firmware for devices.
