No - the reason it's configured as it is because that's how software lays it out; 3-1-2-4. Unfortunately it doesn't allow for a 1-2-3-4 layout when connected direct to hardware. Sorry.
I have had quick look through the forum but couldn't find anything that exactly answers my query, so here goes...
I have DDJ-XP2 controller connected to one (player 2) of the 4 CDJ-2000NXS2 players.
All the players and the DJM-900NXS2 mixer are connected via LAN.
I have a player connected to each channel. Player 1 connected to channel one, player to channel 2, player 3 to channel 3 and player 4 to channel 4. Pretty straight forward..
Player 1 Player 2 DJM-900NXS2 Player 3 Player 4
DDJ-XP2
The issue that I have is the DDJ-XP2 deck controls. I understand that the way it works currently is deck 1 is on the left and 2 is on the right, similarly deck 3 is on the left and deck 4 is on the right.
So the way my equipment is setup, deck 2 controls are on the right of the XP-2 when the player is on the left of the mixer. (I hope I have explained this clearly?)
Is it possible to change way the decks can be switched? For example switch between decks 1 & 2 on the left and 3 & 4 on the right?
Thanks in advance for any answers/advice. :-D
