Hi after a decade I have recently caught the bug for djing again, and I fancy buying a controller with them being an all in one systems. I notice when clubbing that DJ's tend to tap the cue button to match tracks BPMs rather than match using the pitch fader. Can you tell me if the DDJ 400 comes with an option to do this?
I plan on saving for a more expensive controller in the DDJ-1000, I just really want to get started, but see the pitch control on the DJJ 400 is a little small for my liking, hence would like the tap function.
No, the only way to set the tempo of the track is to adjust the pitch with the fader or the sync button, sorry. I'm not sure of any controllers that sync via tapping the tempo... that's really used for FX tempo if anything.
