dj 1000 no control

I have a ddj 1000, trying to mix on rekordbox. i have updated firmware and audio drivers. it displays the ddj in audio output i settings. I cant load-tracks and  my very few of the deck lights are on. ive uninstalled rekordbox numerous times as well as the drivers. on the platters it says external input
